Our Apartment
This was our first home together and we lived here for five years. We seriously stretched every square inch out of it and often joked that it was like living on a boat: If something goes in, something else must go out! It was less than 750 sq. ft. which might be a lot for a couple; but, nowhere near spacious for two adults, two great danes, and a toddler! Evan and his family had rehabbed the entire upstairs before we met. Then I moved in and added a lot of the custom furniture and renovated the kitchen.
You can see a tiny peek of our master bedroom in the left of this picture. We had two dressers and an Eames on that wall. It was separated from the rest of the apartment by two french doors.

So I realized we never once took pictures of the master bedroom. This is the only one we got. E custom made the platform bed frame so we could squeeze in a king. There wasn’t room for a headboard, so we created one visually with the artwork and the sconces. There wasn’t even room for a bedside table. The closet door you see was mine, and his was across the room.
