Faux Lemon Christmas Decor: This year for Christmas, I wanted to do a something a little different and fell in love with the idea of faux citrus and lemon Christmas decorations. With a few little tweaks, the mantel came to life! See how I made this faux lemon Christmas decor below and make sure you see all the fabulous Christmas tours!
FAUX LEMON CHRISTMAS DECOR
So often, Christmas decor can be heavy. And let’s be honest, red and green aren’t in my color scheme! So, I decided to embrace the blue and white palette I already had going, and add a fresh touch of citrus with some faux lemons. And of course, a little gold never hurt anyone 🙂
By interweaving two magnolia garlands from JOANN with one gold magnolia garland from Crate & Barrel, I was able to create a full garland that spanned the length of the fireplace. Then, we added faux lemons that I was able to get online. Adding some gold ribbons to the upright blue and white jars added a little touch of Christmas, and made it more fun!
I couldn’t resist this adorable blue and white buffalo check wrapping paper from Sweet Caroline Designs!
Overall, I am really happy with how our fireplace turned out and it’s a fresh take on Christmas decor with citrus!
