Thank you all for such wonderful support last week. I swear there is nothing harder than hearing your child cry (even when you know there is nothing physically wrong with them.) I promised a recap on our pacifier weaning process, so here it is, along with some helpful tips I think helped us make the transition. I made notes at what we did at each age (we started really gradually at 12 months, and then really didn't do much until 24 months.) DIY Pom Pom box (just like ... DIY Leopard Pillows
For as long as I can remember, I have wanted leopard pillows. Now they wouldn't really go in our last place so you bet I couldn't wait to put them in our new house. I have lusted after pillows like these, which I see appear all over blogs; but I could never justify paying $75 for a pillow cover. Not in our house, nor with our budget. Honest Diapers Price Cost Breakdown
I mentioned yesterday that Zulily was having a great sale on Honest Co. products. I have used their sales on Zulily multiple times to buy a voucher for diapers. We don't get diapers monthly (more like one bundle every three months) so I just have to be careful to keep on delaying ... Read More about Honest Diapers Price Cost Breakdown

Two great danes plus a toddler and a baby on the way in the family room (which shares the same carpet) means we are not exactly "low impact." I absolutely love this room though. I feel lucky enough just to ... Read More about Our Living Room
DIY Pom Pom Curtains
I recently reshot Bowie's room so the pictures above are the updated ones, and the ones below are the original. I am happy to say that I have learned a bit about photography in the past ten months! Next to painting, window treatments can really change a room. Luckily for us, this sucker was a pretty inexpensive DIY. The curtains themselves were cheap, and the curtain rings would have been if I hadn't messed up at Ikea. The ceilings in our house aren't particularly ... Read More about DIY Pom Pom Curtains
